ameen, is it sold as a model that you can unfold and then fold it back? Or like a cracked sheet of paper?

Have anyone ever asked you to take a fresh sheet just because yours was already "precreased", which in some way should have been making it easier for you to make a model? I have even been asked once where the precreased paper can be bought and the person was surprised to hear that all the folding should be done with your own hands.

To glue or not to glue? Actually it all depends on how "pure" you feel your paper folding to be. It makes sense to use glue for the models that you want to last, because everything from humidity to heat may affect the model. I've heard lots of origami experts saying you can't glue or cut your model, but if you are doing origami for yourself, I am sure you can do whatever you want.
